Kelley & Milad had double the fun on their wedding day! First a ceremony at University United Methodist Church followed by a Persian ceremony at Villa del Lago! The sneak peek from UUMC is on the way, here is a sneak peek from Villa del Lago! I love the ceremonial elements, including when a scarf is held over the bride and groom’s heads. Two cones made out of hardened sugar are softly ground together above the couple to shower them in sweetness. And then the Honey Exchange, when the bride and groom dip their little fingers in honey and feed it to each other to symbolize starting the marriage with sweetness. Love it!
